MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE
We are convinced that any activity we carry out should bring changes, be meaningful and valuable for society. Each of us considersILDC’s mission important and contributes to its realization

SOCIAL IMPACT
We are confident in the effectiveness of social impact mechanisms. The results of ILDC impact study showed that the organization’s activities affect people’s lives: changes in the attitude of social workers, changes in the level of social services, the attitude of government agencies to foster parents, changes in legislation, changes in the lives of families and children

EVERY CHILD SHOULD LIVE IN A FAMILY
We believe that every child should live in a family or in conditions close to family life. The only place where a child’s needs can be met is in the family. It plays a crucial role in the formation and development of a child’s personality. The family is also a sense of security, the basis for the formation of a model of behavior and interpersonal relationships

SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE CHILD
We believe it is important to create a safe environment for children. This means that every child should have a competent adult with them: parents, social and medical workers, teachers, etc. This is embedded in our mission and is our top priority

HUMAN RELATIONS
We believe in the importance of human relationships. While staying focused on our purpose and goals, we are convinced that relationships (within the team and with partners) help us achieve them

CHRISTIAN VALUES
We share Christian values, because love for our neighbor, the value of everyone’s life, mercy and patience are the fundamental values of social work
