Module 1
Main concepts and consequences of child abuse
After this module, you will
Understand the prevalence of the problem of violence against children
Know the concepts of “child welfare”, “child abuse”, “physical abuse”, “sexual abuse and exploitation”, “neglect”, “traumatic event”
Know the regulatory and legal documents on ensuring the protection of children from abuse
Know the basic principles of interaction with a child and the limits of adult responsibility
Be able to act in accordance with the code of adult behavior
Module 2
Ability to identify child sexual abuse
After this module, you will
Know the age-specific peculiarities of normal sexual development of a child
Be able to distinguish between sexualized behavior of a child and possible signs of sexual abuse
Know the forms and types of sexual violence, the cycle of violence
Be able to identify signs of child abuse child abuse
Be able to recognize signs of sexual abuse of children of different ages and types of behavioral reactions of a child in dangerous conditions

Identifying and responding to cases of sexual violence and exploitation

Know the specifics of reporting or not reporting sexual abuse by a child
Know and be able to report an identified case or threat of child abuse, taking into account the time frame

Be able to conduct an interview with a child victim of violence
