NGО “ILDC” became part of the organizing team of the conference of the Christian Platform for Eastern Europe “CPOE Conference 2024”, which was held in Cluj, Romania.
“Inspiration for Change: Moving Forward with Faith” was the slogan of the conference, which brought together more than 100 participants from Romania, Moldova, Albania, the Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Germany, and the UK, who are committed to working for positive change in the lives of people, families, and children.
During the conference, we devoted time to learning and sharing best practices, partnership models and ways of working that are relevant to different contexts. Conference participants joined plenary sessions with inspirational speakers, workshops, research presentations, discussions of best practices in community work, and a marketplace of products from various social enterprises and projects.
The conference provided an opportunity to share experiences on various important topics, including deinstitutionalization and development of family-based care, mobilization of local resources and community development, building partnerships and strengthening the capacity of organizations, working with children with disabilities, Roma inclusion, and human trafficking prevention.
Together we are moving forward, creating a better future for all those who need our support. We are sincerely grateful to all partners and participants of the conference for the opportunity to work together for positive change!
